Despite the importance that fashion plays in most women’s lives, there are still certain universal flaws in women’s clothes that leave all women scratching their heads. Here are just a few that women everywhere have grown tired of:

Lack of Pockets
Many women’s clothes either have tiny pockets or fake pockets that serve no purpose at all. It is a sneaky trick by clothing manufacturers to convince women to buy additional handbags. According to Fashion Journal, it could also be because some designers think the bulk of a mobile phone in a pocket could ruin the wearer’s silhouette. Still, considering that men can carry all of their things in their pockets and even baby clothes come with pockets, most women are still fed up with it.

Overly Complicated Clothing
Everyone wants to look unique and express themselves through their clothes, but sometimes you do just need something plain for everyday use or an outfit that can be dressed up with some accessories. Mainstream clothing stores make it increasingly hard to find these types of outfits, selling only t-shirts and sweaters with confusing slogans or impractical pants or dresses that are impossible to wash properly.

Shorter Life Expectancy
Despite women’s clothes typically costing more than men’s clothes, many find that women’s clothes are made of poorer quality materials and don’t last as long as men’s clothing. They are also more likely to be made of see-through materials, reveal too much of the body than is necessary, and pinch in uncomfortable places.

Fewer Plus Sizes
We live in a culture that celebrates everybody’s unique attributes, yet it is still more difficult for plus sized women to find attractive clothes that aren’t from specialty stores. Any women’s clothing stores that do cater to all sizes are popular with modern women.

While these trends aren’t true of every clothing store online or in shopping malls, they are common enough for women to fume over them. When you do find a store that sells clothing that is both aesthetically pleasing and practical, share the news with your friends and the other stores will soon catch up.
